  1. You asked your guest about whether there were POW camps in Australia and Canada.

    Canada did indeed have POW camps for German POWs, there being a grand total of 25.

    Australia also had POW camps, although I know less about them and I don't know if any Germans or Italians were held there (it would seem unlikely). They had at least one camp that housed Japanese POWs during the war.
